Yale’s University’s motto is Lux et Veritas, meaning Light and Truth. There is no better place for Pras Michel, the selfless advocate for homeless awareness, to bring to light the perils of homelessness and extol the truths learned from his nine day journey into Skid Row, than on the activist-driven campus of Yale University. New Haven, CT is no stranger to homelessness issues and neither is Yale University. Unfortunately, students are often confronted with their very own homeless personalities such as the Shakespeare Lady and Flower Lady as they walk around campus
