Brought to you by LISSENUP! (“Life Is Short So Enjoy it Now - Urban Productions), “Progressive Sessions” are reoccurring events that celebrate creative expression while promoting a social impact. Progressive Sessions will be held for the first time at Little Tokyo's “The Far Bar” during LA's Art Walk on Thursday, March 12th. Featuring an exhibit from Los Angeles photographer, Ed Cañas, Live Music from Reggae band, True Press & folk rock singer/songwriter, Johanna Chase. The night will also feature a line-up of 6 LA based DJs spinning different sounds from new jazz & funk, to hip-hop & electronica. Progressive Sessions exists to unify people through art while raising money for the homeless on Skid Row. All proceeds will go directly to Project Full Bellies, an organization that prepares care packages for the homeless of Los Angeles, particularly those on Skid Row.
